A Confidence Booster

I love these tires. I once was in the tire business so I know what I want in a tire and particularly the tread pattern. living in Florida we need good rain tires so all of my searches focus on tread pattern and this meets my needs. Aggressive but smooth and quiet on the highway while providing confidence in our frequent heavy rain storms.

Smooth ride...

The prior set of tires from Forceum were a disaster as they rode rough and lasted only 17k miles (avoid Forceum tires at all costs). Replaced them with these tires, and immediately noticed how much smoother the ride was. Night and day difference actually. I rated durability a 4, not because of any issues, but because I haven't had them long enough to determine longevity.

Starfires Seem to be a Good Choice

I bought a complete set of Starfire Solarus HT All-Season 245/70R16 107T for my 2004 Dodge Dakota. - Replaced 11 year old Michelins that I liked a lot and still a lot of tread but they were old and started slow leaking - These Starfires are made in America - Tread is 5-ply: 1 ply nylon, 2 ply steel, 2 ply polyester (I like the steel plies) - Sidewall is 2-ply polyester - Okay looking tires on my Dakota - Run very smoothly and quietly - all highway driving - at least as good as the Michelins - Ran up to 90 mph - still very smooth - Traction and comfort are good so far, but I missed the snow from two weeks back for that test.
