I don't have a baby, but I do have a larger version of this wrap that I bought several years ago, thinking it was a shawl, but it was the size of a throw. This one is a bit smaller, but still perfect for so many uses. This is that material that manufacturers claim will keep you cool if you are a hot sleeper; it's mostly viscose from bamboo, so it is cool, soft, stretchy and drapey. I can use it as a shoulder wrap while sitting in bed watching TV or checking emails. I can use it as a lap blanket when the outdoor temperature can't decide how it wants to make today miserable for you. It's rare to find a wrap that works for cold and hot both, but this one will. I'm currently using it to cover my pillow so that my neck doesn't sweat while I'm sleeping. Of course you can wrap your baby, but you can wrap you, too. It's pretty enough and elegant enough to use as a wrap for going to dinner or the theater, as well.

This swaddle blanket will be good to use in warmer climate as well as on cold nights. It's a lighter weight so better air circulation. The pink color is sweet !
