light enough for a woman with convenient grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] unfortunately my husband didn't have time to try out this pole on a lake as we had hoped. but its coming with ys to obx in few weeks. pole is not easy to transport, it does not collapse. roughly in the ultralight-to-medium-light recreational category rather than a heavy-duty surf or catfish setup. The relatively small guides and slender upper sections point toward lighter presentations were bent some during transport.
