NUMBER... and most importantly... hours searching diligently online, i.e. HP, Microsoft and any other site with suggestions to fix this flash, I employed every method and tool suggested by all, including resetting the puter to w condition, and the screen still intermittently flashes off and back on. Unlike listed in sales information: Does not have a backlit keyboard which is of great necessity to us. The battery lasts less than 4 hours while checking email and simple banking.
