Every Canadian recording session he made between 1936 and 1947 featured at least one song about Texas and the open range. Long after resettling in the United States, Snow often revisited the West in his concerts, record albums and Grand Ole Opry appearances. This collection features many of Snow's Western sagas, starting with his first record from 1936, 'Prisoned Cowboy'.
