If the clothing is used or a display SAY THAT!

I have had my eye on these pants for MONTHS. I simply loved them, but I thought they were a little bit too expensive for my budget. But as a gift to myself I decided to just buy something I loved instead of a regular ole' pair of Old Navy jeans or Levi's. When I got them the cardboard packaging was a little rough, but I just assumed perhaps they wanted to get them to me fast. Okay, no biggie. When I opened the cardboard packaging I was excited to see the jeans. BUT—after opening the “plastic packaging” which I am going to assume was either re-taped or an adhesive was used to re-apply the closure, the pants had glittery finger nail polish on them. I was P.O.ed to say the least. Here's the thing though, I have no problem purchasing 2nd hand clothing or even gently used clothing from thrift store apps. But if the clothing you are selling is a “display” item or “new with slight defects” YOU NEED TO SAY THAT!! And the price definitely needs to reflect that. Paying close to $100 for defective or gently used clothing without stating so is not the move. Just be honest. Ulgh….
