Handy kitchen tool
Already I've used this to brush melted butter on English muffins, spread oil thin in a frying pan (will save on pouring-off excess), and used dry to better distribute powdered sugar on a pan of brownies. The silicon bristles pick-up liquids better than I expected, yet are very easy to clean. The special broad, flat 'bristles' in the center have holes for capturing sauces, which is what most sets this apart from cheaper versions. Well built, I expect it to last a long time.

I haven't used this basting brush yet, but it is sturdy. The bonus being it is seamless. I have an old one that comes apart when I use it. I hate that! Now I can throw it away. I did notice the inner bristles are wider with circular holes in them to hold more of whatever sauce you want to use. The silicone will allow me to subject it to more heat. No more melted handle.
