OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone Potenza RE97AS RFT (OE) is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model is the original equipment tire of select vehicles.

This model has exceptional all weather traction. The tread pattern and the all season compound grip the road surface excellently in dry, wet and even winter conditions. The all weather compound does not lose its traction in the colder winter temperatures and it provides safety in all types of seasonal weather. The tread design, with its circumferential grooves, helps resist dangerous hydroplaning situations. These grooves eliminate water and slush from under the tire's footprint. In this manner, the tire upgrades the year round driving security.

The model's steel belt reinforcement in the internal structure help lower the rolling resistance. The reduced rolling resistance lowers the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and, at the same time, it slows down the tread wear rate. The tread wears out evenly, as the driving force is equally distributed along the tread area.
