I purchased these for a friend who is going through dialysis so I can't really say how they wear but I can say how they looked and felt when I received them. I would recommend these to a friend with the clear understanding that it's more like a long sleeve t-shirts than a sweatshirt. It's definitely not sweatshirt material. It seems to have decent zippers in the appropriate areas. The friend I ordered them for is always cold so I was looking to order sweatshirts so they would help with that so the fact that they are not sweatshirts is very disappointing.
