As you can see from the photos of before and after there is a lot of new growth. In the first photo I show you how to open the bag instead of cutting it. Cutting the string and pull it so it comes off. I used hand held feeder to distribute the seeds evenly over my dead patches and also over the whole of the lawn. I watered twice a day for a week then back to every 2 days. As you can see from the last two photos the whole lawn looks so green and full. I great product for Southern California with the drought tolerant grass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grass seed is great. It's beginner friendly and grows extremely fast. I overseeded my lawn, watered the seeds, and then put hay on top. Within two days, the grass was sprouting. It seemed to be all grass too, with little to no weeds. Unfortunately my neighbor drove their truck through my lawn killing all of my new grass. I wanted to show how well the grass grows, though, so I am adding photos of it growing in a plastic cup. I didn't do anything fancy. I just put the seeds on top of some soil, added a grow light, and kept the soil consistently moist (but not soaking wet). I wanted to test how strong the grass and roots are, so I lifted the grass and soil out of the cup by pulling on the top of the grass. To my surprise, everything came out of the cup without breaking. That is some strong grass! The roots were deep too! I will definitely be buying this and redoing my lawn...but I am adding “no trespassing” signs this time.
