it took a while to set up, about 7 hours. i spit my work on it for two days, that was a given with a bunk bed. directions were easy. well packaged. was ever so slighty beat up but i kinda added due to a few hiccups. lol. its very sterdy, well made. not creeky, is stable. great extra shelving space. we love it
