For the price I was skeptical but I was totally wrong. Yes I am a reviewer and received this product to review. I review all my purchases telling the good the bad or the ugly. I rely upon reviews when I buy anything so I hope I can be that person for others. This is a very nice finish wrap around curtain rod. It's a champagneish color. I know not a word but it's an excellent light shade between silver and gold. It's not bronze. I am going to use it in my dinning room because of the nice finish I have a set of French doors leading off to a deck in my dinning room and the sun is brutal. I need it for keeping the heat down and am hoping to reduce my energy bill. The rods add up to cover the entire doors which covers one whole wall. The rods are small enough to look dressy not industrial but strong enough to hold any weight of curtain i would ever hang. These could easily have come from PB or a high end home goods store. The directions are simple to follow and hang easily. The ends curve round to make sure the sun light doesn't peak around the corners. You could use curtains with grommets or with black out curtains that hold by magnets. I am going to reorder this to hang in my living room because I love the color and the slenderness of the rod. I won't be using it for room darkening just a beautiful curtain rod at a great value.

This is the best curtain rod if you have rowdy kids who tend to not care about their surroundings. The rod is sturdy and super easy to assemble. It is securely screwed into studs so it is not going anywhere no matter how hard the curtains are pulled.
