Great for a beginner to try out

New to this. Completed it. Enjoyed it. Looks like the picture. Enough floss to complete, even with mistakes. Plenty left. My set only came with one needle, it's says two on the package. Was able to complete with the one, it's was easy to thread and not too sharp when I poked my fingers. Perfect to learn and want to continue. Only thing needed beyond the set was scissors. Oh and a seem ripper, for the mistakes and knots I made.

Cute project I will start soon. I've used Diamond Dotz (the bejeweled kits) products for many years and this is my first cross stitch as I did not know they had these kits. They are a good company so I'm certain this kit will be too. I'll amend my review if I'm disappointed)

Great for beginners!

Great cross stitch project for beginners! I have cross-stitched a couple of small projects many years ago so this was a re-introduction for me. I completed the mushrooms. The patterns were easy to understand and there was plenty of embroidery floss when 2 strands were used as directed. The pattern was printed on the fabric so it was easy to follow and no counting required. The pattern on the aida cloth washed away cleanly with warm water and mild laundry detergent after I was done. The orange embroidery thread provided was brighter than what was pictured and I didn't care for it so I opted to do the small mushroom in the same colors as the large mushroom and there was plenty of thread leftover to do so. I really enjoyed this project and love how it turned out! I've already purchased two more to do next.
