Warranty information
A Kawasaki parts warranty text covers manufacturing defects for a specified period, with repair or replacement provided at the discretion of Kawasaki. It excludes damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, lack of proper maintenance, use of non-genuine parts, or unauthorized modifications. The warranty typically requires that the product be serviced by an authorized Kawasaki dealer and that the owner reports issues promptly. What's Covered • Manufacturing Defects: Kawasaki warrants that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the specified warranty period. • Repair or Replacement: If a covered failure occurs due to a manufacturing defect, Kawasaki will arrange for the repair or replacement of the necessary part at no cost to the customer. What's Not Covered (Exclusions) • Accident, Misuse, or Neglect: Damage caused by accidents, improper use, or a lack of care is excluded. • Improper Maintenance: Failure to perform required maintenance, as specified in the owner's manual, will void the warranty. • Non-Genuine Parts: The use of replacement parts or accessories that do not meet Kawasaki's specifications will void the warranty. • Unauthorized Modifications: Alterations or modifications not approved in writing by Kawasaki are excluded. • Normal Wear and Tear: Deterioration or wear caused by the normal use of the part or accessory is not covered. • Competitive Racing: Kawasaki parts or accessories used in competitive racing are specifically excluded from coverage. • Labor Costs: Unless the original part was installed by an authorized dealer, labor costs for fitting replacement parts may not be covered.
