This are really quality jars. Much heavier than most and with thicker glass. The tops are air tight and will keep out ants and other creepy crawly things with . These will be perfect for candy or flour, sugar, etc. They look beautiful on your counter or as I'm currently using them, for candy. You have to put on the rubber seal and it fits very snuggly. These will be useful for everything you want to keep free from the outside air. The flip top lid is easy to maneuver and the flatbottom makes them stackable.
