I usually decant pantry items in glass, but after dropping and breaking some heavy glass containers I ordered these. When they arrived, I unwrapped and inspected each one. Then I hand-washed, air dried and filled these up! 5 lb bags of rice fit in 1 container with room to spare. I'm using these to keep dry kitchen goods safe from humidity and bugs. Cereal, rice, flour, sugar, nuts, etc. These look neat and tidy on my open shelves, and they're easy to grab too! The bottoms taper from the top and there are vertical ridges on one side of the container for grabbing and holding. These had no chemical smells, are made with food grade materials and sealed great! Some of the lids were difficult to latch with my arthritic hands, but I found the latches were much easier to push down and lock when the containers were placed on a lower surface than my counter. I haven't noticed any change in taste or freshness of anything I've placed in these. I didn't use the labels that were included but the labels looked nice. 24 black labels: 8-pc matching (2 different designs) and 8-pc various shapes; 1 white paint marker.

Way better than anticipated. Excellent quality! Each side of the lid separately folds down till you feel it snap onto the container for a tight grip and a great seal. Reusable sticker labels came as hese were bigger than I thought for the price. Great price! Thank you.
