Dissolves Nasty hard water scale under RIM!!

I had purchased this Active brand in the past and liked the results (cleaners for disposal, washing machine, coffee maker, fridge gasket mold, septic tank, etc.). Didn't know they made a toilet bowl cleaner until shopping on Walmart. We have 6 toilets, so need to buy cleaners in bulk. After 4 weeks of use in our heaviest used toilet, we noticed hard water scale deposits flake off from under the rim.
