Reality Stricken

Reality Stricken is a four-piece rock band from Norristown, Pennsylvania. Members Steve Angello, Stu Olson, Mike Weiser and Josh Solomon rely on tight arrangements of their rock anthems and perform them flawlessly while lacing the songs with insightful lyrics. Since 2001, Reality Stricken has been playing in and around their home state of Pennsylvania and has quickly developed a loyal following. Their guitar-driven sound has drawn comparisons to Foo Fighters, Brand New, and Bayside. The band strives to relate their music to the listener. quot;We love the feeling of creating something that people can relate to, move their feet to and connect with on a level that will erase the line between band and audience.quot; This reverence for the audience is what makes the music that Reality Stricken plays so memorable and accessible. The band recorded their first EP quot;So Few and Far Apartquot; in 2005 and soon after followed it up with quot;Embrace Your Last Chancequot; in 2006. They have toured the northeast extensively and has opened for some national acts and recently, Reality Stricken was featured on the 2007 Warped Tour Sampler CD. Currently, the band is writing new songs in preparation to record another record and they will be releasing a self-titled EP in the fall of 2007.
