I should preface my comments with an important qualifier: I have never tasted a Slim Jim, of any flavor. Or any jerky, for that matter. But I had heard of the brand. I bought this box for a new acquaintance who did me a favor and I wanted to give her a token of my appreciation. Making banana bread or a cake are my go-to's in such situations. But I had no idea what she might like or whether she had any restrictions on what she could eat. I later overheard her discussing food with others in the room. She loved spicy things and that she'd once tried her hand at making her own jerky. So, I took a chance and bought this. She laughed happily when she opened the gift bag and told me it was her favorite snack and asked how I knew. So while this five star review is a bit second-hand, I think her reaction was genuine, not just being polite. She even confirmed that Slim Jim is what she buys for herself.

Perfect little snack when I need to have a snack. It has the perfect kick of spice and 1-2 of these satisfies every craving when I just gotta have something!
