It really was a lot of work to assemble. It took me 4 hours for one nightstand. The instructions were less to be desired. It is a nice nightstand, definitely MDF and some wood, it is not solid wood. I would not buy this again nor recommend it. Its better to have this assembled if you do buy it, even if you are handy like me. I recommend buying an assembled wood nightstand instead, save your time and energy for something else. 100% honest review!
