Stay safe

Years ago when i started biking i had a bern brentwood and loved it. It was replaced with a big box store helmet that got worn less and less. Recently my wife asked if i didnt like my helmet why did not not just get a new one. After some looking i found the brentwood 2.0. I forgot how nice it was to have a helmet that has a good fit and stays put. The elastic rear is nice and i put in the non visored pad. While i wear it quite often i remind my wife It reinforces your skull, but won't replace your brain. Be smart out there.

let it bern

been a bern-y bro since the late-aughts, and needed something lighter/breezier than my Watts (first gen) for summer MTB. the Watts is still great for winter riding/skiing, but the Brentwood 2.0 is less bulky. i also look 50% less like a jockey, and 150% more awesome.

Solid and Light

Loving the feel of this helmet, so light and the zipmould gives a solid feel to the construction plus keeps the sides thinner than normal. I initially bought a cheap helmet but I felt like a bobble head with it on; this feels so light, like a baseball cap with chin straps. I have to agree with the rear plastic strap mounts digging in to your scalp but I managed to bend the bottom edges away and it's ok now.
