Hopefully more reliable than other brands

I've gone through so many 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs from various brands over the years. I have them in my Ikea floor lamp which is not enclosed, yet most of them fail within a year or two. I believe the issue is excessive heat buildup. So I'm hoping that with these Philips bulbs being so efficient, they are generating less heat and will last longer. I have some lower output BR30 Philips LED bulbs that have been in daily use since 2012 and are still going strong. It's been my experience that Philips bulbs are generally the most reliable as well.

bright and efficient. you can tell they are slightly dimmer than a typical 1600 lumen, 17.5w, 100w equivalent led bulb. however, i don't think it is worth double the energy for 60 more lumens. they also do not run hot, which i hope will increase longevity. i have both the daylight and bright white options.

I'm a senior with night blindness %26 poor vision. I can't deal with the new modern lightbulbs, they just aren't bright enough for me %26 the longer you have them the dimmer they get (depressing). I use the brightest bulbs I can get %26 these are great for me. pricey but I'd rather see where I'm walking than run into a closed door.
