The HGLRC M80 / M80 Pro GPS Module is a compact and reliable positioning solution designed for FPV racing drones, long-range quadcopters, and fixed-wing aircraft. Powered by the SWID XN2282IQM-1U chipset, the M80 delivers high-performance reception with -167 dBm tracking sensitivity and -160 dBm capture sensitivity, ensuring fast and reliable GPS lock even in environments with weak signals. The built-in ceramic antenna further enhances signal reception, allowing for consistent connectivity during demanding FPV flights.
The M80 Pro version includes an integrated QMC5883 compass, enabling accurate orientation and heading information in addition to GPS positioning. This is particularly useful for flight controllers that require both positional and directional data to maintain stable navigation in racing or long-range conditions.
With support for up to 72 search channels, an output frequency of 1 Hz to 10 Hz (default 10 Hz), and the NMEA protocol, the M80 and M80 Pro ensure seamless integration with most modern flight controllers. Pilots benefit from precise telemetry, with speed accuracy up to 0.05 m/s and position accuracy of 1.5 m (2D, open sky), making this module ideal for FPV flights where precision and reliability are critical.
