I've had my shoes for more than 5 and I have no issue with the boots. It's the best winter boot I've had. I wear 9- 91/2 but these are size 10. I bought it big so I could wear 2 socks which makes it more snug, warm and comfortable. Normal wear and tear.

I have been wearing this boot forest thinning for better than a dozen years. With quality gaiters on top we walk around in a 6 to 12 inches of snow all day and take off our boots in the evening to be greeted by dry socks every time. I recommend to all winter crew members. Lightweight, not too hot, never cold, always a great grip. I wear a thin cotton undersock and a mid-weight wool blend outer sock. I always buy wide.
