Do you really need the synthetic version of this gear oil? No. There is less thermal breakdown with gear oil than with motor oil, and the price difference is huge. For my rototiller this works great and the low cost allows me to change the oil in the gearbox every year.

Just excellent gear oil for my differentials. Make sure your fill plug will come out before you drain your old stuff because mine were a real bear. I run this over 80w90 as Ford recommends 75w140 for heavy duty applications. My front Dana 60diff took 3 quarts my rear sterling 10.25 took just over 3 %26 1/2
