Federal's Formoza GIO tire is engineered for high fuel efficiency and superior ride comfort. It features special rubber free of High-aromatic oils as well as an optimized tread pattern that minimizes rolling resistance for lower environmental impact. Multiple sipes and the open shoulder design adds biting edges for better grip on mud, light snow, and wet conditions. On wet surfaces, the grooves expel water from the contact patch to improve stability.

Great value
This is the third set of Federal Formoza tires that our family has purchased in the past couple of years. We love them. Lots of value for the dollar. I've worked in the automotive service industry most of my life and these are some of the smoothest and quietest tires I've seen. Of the three sets none of them have taken much weight to balance and they are exceptionally quiet. I don't have scientific data but my butt dyno tells me that they have more than adequate grip for just about any condition. I have not driven them in the snow but in rain they are great.
