Deep Frying Pan with Lid Even Heating Engineered

Heavy solid stainless steel pan and lid, well made. The lid is heavy glass with a stainless handle, I preheated the pan up to about 250 deg and watched the inside of it. It looked like the circles around the hex design disappear, that might be the preheat indicator. I also used a few drops of water and my infrared gun to tell when it was preheated. I fried some onions and garlic, threw in some cut up sausage, 5/4 cup of uncooked rice and 3 cups water and let it simmer until the rice was cooked. The sides a re high so you get splatter. The helper handles stayed cool during most of the cooking. The pan is really useful for cooking anything in quantity. Very happy with it, easy to store.
