Available from Swanson, L-Tyrosine is an amino acid that is used as a precursor for the synthesis of neurotransmitters in the brain, specifically dopamine and norepinephrine. These can be depleted during times of stress. Tyrosine is known to support the replenishment of both dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain, which may protect against stress-induced cognitive issues. Dopamine may also encourage mental alertness. These neurotransmitters can support a more positive mood and cognitive function, so adding an L-tyrosine supplement to your regimen may contribute to a brighter, more positive mood. New research also indicates that L-tyrosine may supports healthy thyroid function as this amino acid is involved in the production of thyroid hormones.

I've tried many different company's products of tyrosine, but I find that "Ajipure tyrosine" is best. I feel hot flashes and irritation using other products but this is not. I guess that tyrosine absorption of other company's products is too-rapid. I feel Ajipure tyrosine is properly absorbed and work comfortably. A drawback of the product is out of stock sometimes. I hope that this product always will keep in stock. I highly recommend that many tyrosine users try using it at least once. You can tell the difference between these.
