Haven't used these yet - what makes them excellent also makes them a last resort. This is the nuclear option when drywall screws fail. You must drill a hole large enough for the anchor to pass through then spread open. They supply a large 20mm spade bit (over 3/4 inch). Anyone who's used spade bits knows they need centre material to bite. A guide plate keeps the bit centred since the failed hole offers nothing to grip. Cleverly, the guide has both alignment marks for centring over the failed hole and spikes for secure positioning while drilling. They claim 225lb capacity - seems substantial, but I'd confidently use them for anything I've previously wall-mounted. Would also substitute nicely for toggles when hanging microwaves. Including the correct drill bit adds good value.

Bullfix already enjoy an excellent reputation. Search YouTube and you'll find numerous comparison videos demonstrating their impressive holding strength. When mounting heavy items like TVs, ensure the grippy rear sections align vertically to counteract gravity - horizontal positioning is far less effective. The Bullfix system simplifies correct alignment without second-guessing, unlike the competing Gripit system. This particular kit targets those who've used inadequate fixings for heavy items, unfortunately ripping them from the wall and causing damage. Includes standard Bullfix fixings and drill bit, plus a guide for positioning the new hole directly over previous damage - preventing the drill from wandering off course.

Brilliant product. Heavy curtains in our living room had no stud for the middle support so we used an anchor. Months later it was hanging by a thread and curtains nearly came down. This product sorted the failed anchor and the curtains are back up. Clever design - holding up brilliantly, pun intended. Excellent product.
