It's not as bad as people say

It's a cheap waffle maker, no doubt, but the reviews make me think it was going to be pretty bad... It wasn't. The bad smell was the typical one you get from any appliance's first use. It cooks waffles perfectly. Should it be cheaper, probably. Is it terrible, no.
