The story begins in a world where only fairies exist. The character played by the player was originally a human, but for some reason, when they woke up on the beach in the evening, they found themselves transformed into a fairy (a corresponding fairy identity will be assigned to you through personality testing in the early stages of the game). You lost most of your memories and soon met another fairy, who became your partner. You have decided to form an expedition team together with the goal of improving team ranking, accepting commissions, and rescuing deceased fairies.
However, the peaceful life was soon shattered. Abnormal time stagnation phenomena are beginning to emerge around the world, as well as dangerous areas known as the 'incredible maze'. The legendary "time gear" that guards the passage of time has also disappeared one after another. In order to uncover the truth and prevent the world from being permanently frozen, you and your partner embark on an adventure.
During the adventure, you discover that all of this is related to an organization called the 'Dark Expedition Team' and its leader. They stole the time gear in an attempt to achieve some goal.
The even more astonishing truth is that the disappearance of the time gear is not the fundamental cause of the abnormal time. The source of everything lies in the gradual collapse of the Temporal Tower, and the legendary fairy ruler of time, Dialga, is also affected by this, blacking out into the Dark Dialga. The complete collapse of the Tower of Time and Space will cause the entire world's time to stop forever.
