Barely functional

There is no disconnect in the wire between the lamp and the solar panel. I had hoped to be able to run the wire through a hole in a wall from the outside solar panal to the inside light. Instead, I had to run the wire through the crack of a door. This light also does not have a pull switch as advertised, but instead employs a remote control that could easily be lost or damaged, which would render the entire unit nearly useless. I don't anticipate this thing to have a long life expectency either considering its fragile construction. Oh, and the light won't come on inside if the solar panel is illuminated outside...you have to physically cover the panel to get the light to come on during the daytime. Don't get this...I'm sure there are many better options out there!
