These are great as for parties as decorations/centerpieces and then party bags. I have to say, the kids play with them almost immediately if they are used for decorations. They are soft and safe though. We've had other brands that you can blow with a pump to be huge (they were a blast but kids would sometimes fill up too much and they'd pop) , but these are more just long and skinny. They are very durable. They come with serval colors and are reasonably priced. We tried to put glow sticks in them, and then inflate but it was too hard to get the sticks in there. Kids definitely had a lot of fun with such a simple toy.
