The new R2 offers some improved functionality such as a stronger 5th wheel design and straight line tracking. Additionally, R2 owners will enjoy a coming firmware upgrade that will give their units added functionality, such as Marching Mode and multi-user capability.

Marching Mode:
Go hands free as the unit tracks in front of the player. Clipping the handset into the front waistline allows the user to move forward while the cart maintains distance and angle to the user. In Marching Mode the player never loses sight of their bag or the next tee box. Watch a demonstration video of Marching Mode in action.

Tracking Technology:
Using ultrasound and RF Signal technology it allows golfers to have hands free, the CaddyTrek calculates speed, distance and angle to the player. Golfers simply walk their game as the unit tracks the player’s movement. This unit can either be in March or Follow mode to allow golfers more freedom than ever before!

Remote Control:
For additional speed and hill climbing ability, switch the CaddyTrek into Remote Mode and send it 100 feet to the next tee box. Found in other higher-end electronic carts, the CaddyTrek uses an onboard gyroscope to insure straight-line tracking over uneven terrain. The CaddyTrek will make adjustments to return to its original line after encountering bumps, divots and uneven turf across the fairway. Use the handset to send the cart around the green, navigate around bunkers or climb hills. In Remote Mode, the CaddyTrek’s speed, control, and stopping power are now in your hands.

A rechargeable Lithium Ion battery allows golfers playtime of 27 holes or more on a single charge. The battery charger plugs into a normal household outlet for quick recharging and the folding frame makes for easy storage and transport. Players can store the CaddyTrek easily in the trunk of their car for the drive out to the golf club.

The CaddyTrek gives players options with its multi-mode handset. Players can operate the unit in remote, follow, or like a manual push cart. In remote, golfers can send the unit on to the next tee up to a range of 100 feet and at a top speed of 4 mph. When the player attaches the handset to his waistline and initiates follow mode, the unit remains at a distance of 6 paces behind the player, adjusting to the pace of the player’s stride.
