Long-time user, highly recommended for beginners

I've used these for years but have only recently tried a variety of other blades.Now that I can compare, I can state plainly that these are by far the best. They begin sharp enough but not too sharp, are very forgiving and go gently dull instead of becoming dangerous.Other blades are brutal out of the box and are only good on their second shave. Still others go dull in some strange way and will scrape off your skin into a bloody mess.Until you're ready to spend the money, do a lot of work reviewing other brands, and shed a lot of blood when experimenting, stick to these.If you ever worried that this website doesn't have variety.. then set your mind at ease that they chose wisely and don't need anything else.

I originally purchased these blades

I originally purchased these blades after getting disgusted with the big manufacturers with the triple/quadruple blade systems. I couldn't see paying the money for a few blades. In any event, after using these blades for a bit over a year, I can say that I'm extremely pleased. There is a bit of a learning curve with a safety razors - angle, finding beard growth direction, etc. But these Merkurs shave quite nicely and last for a good amount of time between changes. I have a fairly heavy beard and these are just the ticket.

Had a lot of trouble

Had a lot of trouble finding this kind of blade in my area. Was very pleased you carry them....I like 'em much better than the cartridges the new razors use. They last much longer, plus I can 'strop' them inside a water glass.
