Keen Women's Hightrail Mid Height Leather Waterproof Hiking Boots, Iceberg Green/Abbey Stone, Size 7

I wore my Keen's for a week of touring Iceland — trekking around waterfalls, glaciers and geysers — and they provided the comfort and stability needed for rocky and wet terrain. Even though I packed other options for city walking, I chose to wear these even while shopping and dining in town — and on my flight home! With their sturdy ankle support and nice, wide toe bed, my feet were happy and I never felt like I was wearing heavy hiking boots. The light overall weight and running shoe feel in the foot bed make these a great selection for such an adventure! Paired with lightweight wool hiking socks, my feet were always warm (or cool, depending on the weather) and dry — never cold or too warm.

I immediately felt the much needed support my feet needed once I put them on. No break-in period needed. Also, LOVED the ankle support. They haven't experienced the wet yet; hope they hold up the East Coast trails well.
