Exactly what I wanted.

I have had a similar napkin holder for many years but it did not have the wooden base. So this one is better because the wood base prevents the metal from leaving marks on the bottom napkins. Also, vertical napkin holders were annoying because the napkins sagged. And this one is also good for picnics and outdoor barbecues because it is wind resistant.

Great quality and so stylish! Very fast and easy to assemble--just two screws to attach the bottom to the metal frame and then just attach the weighted ball to the "sceptor" object. No instructions come with it, but assembling it is intuitive. You can't do it wrong. Makes a nice gift, by the way. It's unique and quite attractive. The item I purchased is the 4" x 4" napkins, and my napkins are 6" X 6", so I need to find out if there's a larger size available. If not, I'll return this one or send it to a friend as a gift. Great value for the price!
