Great hardhat

Not sure what everyone is talking about, this being hard to put together. Takes common sense and you'll figure it out. Fit is great, sweatband is comfortable. No complaints at all

Great for the price

This full brim is my second hat, with the first being partial brim, also a Secure Fit. The instructions are for both regular and Secure Fit, so you need to pay attention. I'll admit the black & white instructions are not entirely clear, but it can be assembled. In fact, there is a section where it shows you can wear it backwards as an option. My partial brim is outfitted with goggles, hearing protection, and mesh face guard. If you cannot assemble this hat, you cannot possibly be a qualified tradesman solving problems. Maybe this is a good test...

great hat look darn good on me!

just bought for my road ranger assignment in Fl. wanted a full brim for the unending sunlight. what a great fit! Ratchet is smooth and easy to operate. Don't listen to the other reviews. Follow the instructions on the packaging. Look closely and you will see what piece fits into the slot. yea the diagrams could be a little more clear but it took me under 30 seconds to assemble. 3M logo should be facing you and sweat brim towards the front. DO NOT disassemble anything just lower the harness into the hat and you will see what piece slots into the hat. It's the squares piece that the strap is attached to. Look carefully at the diagram. Good luck and stay safe out there!
