Perfect for my '97 LC

Quality was great. Fit was perfect. Stock ones don't have the ball clip for the end that connects to the hood (and grabs onto the rounded-end/ball but), so just unscrew the existing rounded-end nut off completely when taking off your old ones. These come with a new rounded nut to use anyway - but save the nut that connects the strut to the body/engine bay, you have to reuse that one as replacements aren't provided. All, should take no more than 5 mins per side. Make sure you have a stick of sorts to hold the hood up while doing the job - one of these newly installed isn't strong enough to hold the heavy LC up on its own if you're replacing really worn out ones (like I was).
