YYW Classic Roller Skates, Double-Row Skate with Skate Bag Light up Wheels, White, Women's 9 & Men's 7.5

Ok so I've never skated in my life except for one disastrous birthday party when I was six. Watching the Olympics I decided I want to learn to skate - on ice eventually but that's not affordable right now so I decided to learn to roller skate as a first step. I'm practicing inside my apartment and not telling anyone lol and then when I get decent I'll pull them out sometime and shock my family because it's very out of character. Anyway my budget is small and my size in the blue was only $24 so I went for it. I like that the blue looks a little more classic/elegant/not tween girlish. I know nothing about skates but I wouldn't have guessed these were this cheap if I saw someone else wearing them. I am a size 8.5 and I size up if there are only whole sizes. I bought an 8.5 in these skates and it fits perfectly with thick socks, if I'm pretty sure a 9 would've been too large to try to make it work. You can only tighten them so much with the laces because the tongue is kind of thick. They don't come laced so that was slightly annoying but that might be how they're so cheap. Overall for my complete inexperience and having used them for about an hour indoors I'm quite happy. The only quality thing that I'm questioning is that there's kind of a crack or seam inside the heel of both boots. I'm pretty sure it's just cosmetic and that they're not going to fall apart but hopefully that's accurate. Also they don't have much if any arch support so maybe you want to get insoles if that's an issue for you - I still wouldn't size up though, personally. Also it's an even lighter/more pastel blue than the product photos look on my phone screen but that's a plus for me.

My daughter really loved the skates and she also loved that they light up and it was easy to spin and glide. The color was so pretty and she needed a upgrade from her old skates.
