Really good stuff

I have been using the Evans coolant in my diesel pickup for almost half its life. I purchased it from a specialty supplier in Florida, then another in California. My thermostat is a 205 degree and the Evans allows me to run a non-pressurized system and operate a 30 below to 110 above.

Great stuff

I stated using Evans coolant six years a go when I owned BMW that had closed loop cooling system that was creating too much pressure due to the water boiling after 100C and normal running temperature for car was 110C. Evans coolant fixed high pressure problem and car ran like champ until I sold it. Liked it so much that I installed it in S500 as soon as I got the car and in my wife’s GL320CDI (diesel) after I had rebuilt engine on it. Just make sure to use prep fluid to get as much water and old coolant out as possible otherwise you can blow your gaskets if you go cheap route and just drain and fill, not worth the risk. I did not use any prep fluid on my wife’s car because every single drop of old fluids was drained during engine rebuild. It’s been 4 years since I installed it in S500 and I love the fact that I don’t have to mess with it ever again since I will keep the car forever. Same with my wife’s diesel.
