Free Assembly Women's and Women's Plus Belted Mixy Polo Midi Dress with Short Sleeves, Sizes XS-4X

For fit details, I am 5'2" tall, 185%23, apron belly and not enough rear end to balance that. I bought the 3X size. I could have easily sized down in this dress. This dress is comfortably stretchy on the top as it's essentially a polo style shirt with a cottony skirt attached. The top button undone style creates a comfortable v-neck that doesn't bother me. I really dislike things pressing into my throat, so some necklines are an issue. The skirt pulls up when I raise my arms, but nowhere close to enough to expose anything. The skirt hits me just above the ankle. It's a full skirt, no binding anywhere, no worry about it being too snug. I don't intend to use the included tie around the waist, but it's a good length to fit with enough room to easily tie it should you choose to do so. It's survived the laundry with 30 minutes in the dryer (as part of a larger load of clothing) and finished drying on a hanger just to be sure it would do well. I suggest using a color catcher with the initial wash, as the red dye did appear to release a little. Overall, I found this comfortable and would be fine for casual or even office attire. Could easily be worn with a jacket for more structured look. The neckline isn't low, the skirt isn't short, the material isn't see-through, nothing is particularly snug/binding, and overall it's conservative enough for most folks while still being easy to wear. I'm wearing it as a casual daily-wear item and may purchase another color as well.
