My wife got these for herself. She bought a size that she has gotten in the past. I do not know if a child's size was sent by mistake, but my wife could not even get these pants on. She let our 9yr old daughter try them and they fit perfectly. Our daughter is a quarter the size of my wife. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the pants are well made and our daughter loves them.
