You need a vacuum, for sure.

Love this rug. Well made. Yes, you have to vacuum it with the brush off (hardwood floor mode) to get the shedding. There is a lot of shedding. I did it daily for about 5 days and that diminished significantly. Looks great, feels great and the price was right. I also got the matching runner, that's how much I liked them.
