    XPARTCO W10683603 Washer Water Inlet Valve Replaces WPW10683603

    The XPARTCO W10683603 is an aftermarket replacement washer water inlet valve and vacuum break assembly compatible with a wide range of Whirlpool-family top-load washers including Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, Amana, KitchenAid, Roper, Crosley, Inglis, and Admiral. The water inlet valve is a dual solenoid valve mounted on the back of the washer that controls the flow of hot and cold water into the tub. When the washer calls for water, the control board energizes one or both solenoid coils to open the valve and allow water to flow through. A thermistor sensor on the valve monitors incoming water temperature to ensure proper wash temperatures are achieved.

    When the water inlet valve fails, the washer may not fill at all, fill too slowly, fill only with hot or only with cold water, overfill continuously, or drip water into the tub when it should be closed. This complete valve and vacuum break assembly measures 9-1/4" L x 6-1/4" W x 2" H and is rated 110/120V, 60Hz. It directly replaces WPW10683603, W10423125, W10501149, W10683680, 3451320, and a large number of additional cross-reference numbers. Installs in 15–20 minutes with basic hand tools.
