This mattress is fabulous. It's firm yet soft if that is a thing. I am a side sleeper , and my hips do not hurt at all. It inflated to twelve inches as promised , no smell. I thought I wanted a super plush soft mattress , but after many weeks of research , I decided on this mattress , and i'm so glad I did. If you are reluctant, I would say, get it.And if you hate it , it's returnable to the store. Best purchase i've made in a while.
