Better than original pitcher

This replacement pitcher is made much better than the original. Original pitcher was round and made from a hard plastic and finally developed a crack after many years of use. We got our money's worth out of original pitcher. This pitcher is oval shaped and made from a very flexible plastic and will probably last me a lifetime based on how long the original hard plastic pitcher lasted. We were still using the original without any leaks from the crack until we got this new one. Mr. Coffee has excellent products.
