this chair is an excwllent purchase. i bought it for use at my bedroom vanity and i must say i feel like a princess when im sitting in it doing my hair or makeup. its very comfortable and the swivel is smooth and it supports me at a little over 200 lbs. it was so easy to assemble. the color to me seems like a true rose pink and im very happy with the softness of the fabric. the only con i could mention would be the price point is a little high for this item compared to other barrel chairs but i do feel that is based on the fact that it swivels and the color is more rare. the seat is nice and firm yet gives just enough to alllw for comfortable seating. i really like that to access the swivel to attach the base all you have to do is unzip the bottom (this seemed very handy and easy to assemble the chair this way.)

The only thing that is different from the picture is the gray is darker than it appearednto me. It is nicely padded, smooth soft velvet %26 easy to put the base on through the zippered bottom opening. It turns smoothly, doesn't look like a mini chair. Although the back is low its good for an occasional chair. i wish they had a matching footstool would make it nice for longer sitting. i wanted a smaller chair for extra sitting so it works well I wish the color was light gray though.
