This project... and it is a project... took a day and a half for a stroke survivor and a person with back trouble to put together (it takes two people to put it together). The fit of the pieces was excellent. the pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly. It was a little time intensive but it was not difficult. The results are great and I couldn't be happier with my new desk!

For me, it is all about function over appearance and this desk delivers. It has a huge top that I can use for all my documents that I need to see at the same time. It is very sturdy but that should be expected when you see the 5 lbs of bolts to put it together....Ha Didn't take any longer to assemble than cheaper desks from office depot or staples. I am glad the computer tower shelf can be removed since I only have a laptop. Pleased with this purchase
