The primary issue with this couch is that it has no back support—it functions more like a bed than a couch. When I contacted the seller about this, they advised me to prop it against a wall, which made it clear they were aware of the defect. I then attempted to return the item and get a refund, calling Walmart and emailing the seller a total of 12 times. The seller offered a small discount but refused to provide a return slip, stating they did not want the couch back. After two weeks of persistent follow-ups, Walmart finally issued an incident number and instructed me to return the couch to a local store. This process was frustrating, as returns are typically handled directly through the seller. However, I want to give special recognition to the employees at the Walmart in Clinton, Maryland, who went above and beyond to process the return and help resolve the issue. Overall, I hope Walmart improves how it vets third-party sellers. While the experience was difficult, Walmart ultimately made things right.
